The displayed times are in fact "theoretical" and not really related to the real status of the order.
The first advantage is that there is no mention that the products come from China in the tracking.
They will eventually see it when they receive the package, but if the product is good, it doesn't matter.
Concerning the delay, the trick is to indicate "late" instead of delivered.
The customer who has received his package will not come to check.
The customer who did not receive his package will come on the site and will see "late".
